Why do I coach for Elkhorn Soccer Club? I coach at ESC because I believe our focus on the individual first creates an environment where kids learn the skills they need to be creative on the soccer field.  The creative spark helps make the game their own and will inspire a life-long love of learning and exploration that is needed for them to reach their highest potential both on and off the field.

Why do you coach for ESC?
"I coach for ESC to provide players of all ages and abilities the opportunity to learn and play the game that has been part of my life for over 35 years.  Growing up and playing soccer in Omaha I was fortunate to play for many wonderful coaches, some of whom are still coaching today and it is those experiences that I want to share with future generations of soccer players.  Coaching soccer for ESC is more than coaching one team - it is coaching a culture and a community of players."

Why do I coach for the Elkhorn Soccer Club? I really enjoy that I get to help kids fall in love with the game of soccer, while having fun and developing skills and I love the fact that I can make a difference in children's lives, not just on the field but off the field as well.  I see myself as more than a coach... in many cases I am a second mom.  As I sat at a local high school game this spring the team spent a few minutes honoring their parents by giving them a flower.  One of my players parents left early.  So she gave me her "parent  flower."  There are no words to describe moments like that!
