Hive 9U/10U Program

This program is for children born in 2009 (9U) and 2008 (10U). Teams are formed based on school attending and parent requests for coaches or teammates. The 9/10 Hive Directors, professional staff and volunteer coaches will conduct two training sessions a week.  The 9/10 Hive Directors will provide volunteer coaches with assistance in designing training sessions and following the club curriculum. Teams play one 7v7 game (six field players and a goalkeeper) each weekend. Games consist of two (2), 25 minute halves.

9U/10U players and teams also have the option to play in an in-­house futsal league during the winter season. All players 9U/10U players are also given the option to participate in the Coerver® Center of Excellence in addition to the Hive programming. All CoE sessions are conducted by club coaches who have been trained in the Coerver® Coaching Method. CoE sessions will be held on Sunday afternoons. 

NSSA Spring Cup: All 9U/10U teams will play in the NSSA Spring Cup in 2018. The cost of this event is already included in registration fees.  Dates are TBD.

Hive + (Plus)
Hive + is designed to provide a more challenging training environment for players who have consistently demonstrated exceptional talent and potential. Coaches and club directors will recommend players for Hive + training.  Selected players will participate in a minimum of four training sessions per season with professional coaches and may attend a local tournament.  

Location: Practices are held at Ta-Ha-Zouka Park.  All games are held at James P. McNeil Soccer Complex (JPM).

Training begins the week of March 26.
In-house games begin Saturday, April 7 at JPM and finish Saturday, May 12.
NSSA Spring Cup will likely be held May 18-20 at Tranquility Park in Omaha.

Make-up games (if necessary) will be held the week of May 21.
